Some Eye Candy from My Workbench
I've been busy lately creating some new pieces. Several will hopeful go to an art gallery that is interested in carrying my wine charms. Others are being donated this week to the American Liver Foundation Connecticut Chapter for their silent auction. Still there are some going to the Mountain View High School Grad Night silent auction. And finally a fresh batch is soon to be up for sell at my Etsy store. Here are just a few items hot off the workbench:

- I am the designer and creator of Wine Coutures- a funky little line of eco-chic wine charms, bottle necklaces and accessories made from recycled and salvaged jewelry. I decided to focus on making wine glass charms in 2008 after I suffered acute liver failure and had to have an emergency liver transplant. Even though the doctors don’t know why my perfectly normal liver failed, liquor was now off limits. So, taking a cue from one of my favorite books I decided that, “Just because I’m resisting the wine doesn’t mean I can’t appreciate the bouquet.” (That’s from the book Twilight for all you non-vampire fans.) Hence, Wine Coutures was born. My wine glass charms continue to be my way to still enjoy the wine that I love so much.
